The plan

Our aim is for you to leave feeling rejuvenated and enlivened. The 3 hour tour will be time to slow down, connect to your senses and deepen your relationship with the forest ecology. The walk is a moderate grade (mostly flat with some short climbs and steps) and 3kms in total. Your facilitator will guide you through mindfulness based practices, share stories of the landscape and elucidate relationships between forests and human wellbeing.
We will meet at Badger Weir Picnic Area, Yarra Ranges National Park, where we will begin and end the walk. Food will not be provided and we recommend bringing a picnic with you to enjoy afterwards or try out a nearby cafe/restaurant.

The fruits of your labour

You will leave with a sense of calm and connectedness and a deeper understanding of the indispensable role our forests have in sustaining and supporting our wellbeing.

The kit required

The conditions are highly variable in the places that we visit. Even in warmer months the temperatures can be significantly cooler than Melbourne. Come with layers so you are prepared for any conditions. Key items to bring are:
Sturdy shoes, warm clothes,  water bottle,  water-proof jacket,  backpack,  hat and medical requirements.
