Choose your own fabric to create this unique, personalised accessory

Bindi Carson is the owner-operator of A good place to start. Bindi created this business with the desire to encourage people back to craft by making it accessible and uncomplicated. All the workshops that are run in the space are thoroughly tested to ensure patterns, instructions and materials will combine to create take-home pieces that you will be delighted by.
You will start this workshop by choosing some lovely fabric and contrasting lining to personalise your purse. You will cut the pattern and mark out the seams and then get to work on the assembly. This workshop involves cutting and ironing with some basic sewing. Sewing is not a prerequisite, there will be lots of assistance if you haven’t sewn with a machine before. Once the purse is all made up, you will learn to attach the clasp. While the glue on one side is drying, we’ll stop for a coffee, or a glass of bubbles, and graze on some cheese a dip. Once the other side of the clasp is attached you’re all done and have your very own custom purse!
The fruits of your labour
During the class you will complete your own small clutch purse to take home.
