Our craft and pottery social evenings are all about fun and creativity. Join us to make your very own Christmas decorations, which you can make totally unique. You can also make gift tags and place settings for Christmas day that then become gifts to your guests.
Not only is this class fun but you will also experience mindfulness, which will let you access your creative self and help you feel relaxed and rejuvenated.
These classes are held in our studio, which is a stylish light-filled venue, with floor to ceiling windows and polished concrete floors. On arrival there will be a complimentary drink – your choice of herbal tea, wine or beer, or spirits with a mixer. BYO for additional drinks.
You will be shown examples of different Christmas decorations then how to create these. Various shape cutters can be used or you can cut these freehand. After your shapes are finished you can add texture and then add pattern, colour and design with underglaze. Alternatively, you can make a slab house that will become a Christmas table decoration with a candle inside.
Time: We've allowed 2 hours, but you may stay longer to finish your work. But you may also finish it in less than 2 hours if you're working quickly, so you are free to stay and have a drink and chat.

Hi, I’m Sally Hobson – the proprietor of Hazy Tales Pottery Studio located in Drysdale on the Bellarine Peninsula.
I studied photography at Derby University in England and have worked in marketing, in a photography studio and run my own wedding and portrait business. I have always been invested in art and creating. Since moving to Australia 6 years ago, I have found a passion for ceramics and jewellery making. It’s a creative exploration being able to make and sell my own products.
The studio is also a great space for hosting events including kids' holiday/term time workshops and social evenings for adults where there is a fab mixture of fun & creativeness!
