The plan

This fun-filled class will teach you how to make Europe cookies, using recipes that have been passed down for generations!

Swiss born Birgit will teach you the ins and outs of different cookie doughs and flavours, and show you how to assemble an oh-so fashionable cookie Grazing Box for you to take home.

During the class at ‘100 mile foodie’ cooking school you will learn how to make:

Zimtsterne (Cinnamon stars)
Vanille Kipferl (Vanilla cresent cookies)
Brunsli (Chocolate cookies)
Orangen schnitten (Orange bites)
Spritzgebaeck (Vienna eclairs)
Spitzbuben (German jam cookies)

All of the recipes have been passed down to Birgit from her Father, who used to make 30 different varieties and give them away as presents at Christmas.

The fruits of your labour

You'll get to sample the cookies we make and then create your own Grazing Box. You can gift this to a loved one or enjoy it yourself with a cup of tea (or another glass of glühwein!). All of the recipes on the day will also be shared with you to re-create at home.
