Eating fermented food increases ‘good’ gut bacteria that boosts our immune system by restoring balance and vitality to the microflora in our gut.
Fermentation is a simple and natural way to extend the life of produce and dairy without added preservatives. Many of the world’s most prized foods are made through fermentation including wine, cheese, spirits and vinegar.
In this class, you will learn how to make your own yoghurt, kefir and kombucha. Have some fun and experiment with soft kefir cheese and gut-healthy fizzy drinks.

The fruits of your labour
You will make and enjoy morning tea featuring fermented products and take home your own scoby.
OPTIONAL EXTRA $25: Purchase a kombucha pack to take home and continue your fermentation skills. Pack includes one-litre jar, flip-top bottle, gut health book and a muslin cloth.
The kit required
You don't need to bring anything with you on the day. Just dress comfortably in closed-toe shoes, as you will be in a commercial kitchen.
