The plan

In addition to regular physical activity, healthy sleep habits and good nutrition can have fantastic benefits for not only our physical health, but our mental health too!

Come along to our ‘Food for a Good Mood’ workshop and hear from Accredited Practising Dietitian, Alexandra Baker, about the link between diet and mental health.

Learn about the Mediterranean dietary pattern and how it’s associated with a good mood. Throughout the day, we will focus on practical strategies to make eating for good health easier, and discuss ways to incorporate these nutritious foods into your meals as part of an ongoing healthy lifestyle.

To conclude the workshop, we will prepare and enjoy nutritious recipes that highlight our mood-boosting foods! The Roast Veggie Salad, Sesame Greens and Not Your Typical Fruit Crumble are sure to be winners that you can re-create at home. We also enjoy the wonderful mood-boosting effects of social interaction, by sharing a meal together.
