The plan For very good reason, pasta is one of the most popular foods in the world! This cooking class on the Mornington Peninsula covers everything pasta: from types of flour used in pasta-dough making to a rundown of the equipment you'll need to make it at home. You’ll learn how to mix the dough ingredients and then knead, rest, roll and cut the dough to shape. You will discover the ingredients used in filled pastas, such as tortellini, and even pick some of your own filling ingredients from the farm garden. You'll also gain knowledge about extra-virgin olive oil and how best to use it in your pasta and other cooking.
The fruits of your labour Once the hard work is done, you'll sit down, admire the view of the vineyard, kitchen garden and ducks on the dam, while enjoying the tantalising food you just made with a glass of Green Olive Estate wine.
