If you're planning on hosting a long lunch or dinner party at your place this summer, this one's for you. Our hands-on Summer Entertaining class will give you the confidence to put on a show in your own home.
Over the course of the day, our Head Chef will teach you simple and clever techniques to turn fresh summer produce into flavour-packed dishes that are sure to impress. With cold entrees, easy and delicious mains and a refreshing dessert, you'll have the entire menu sorted.
While the focus is on techniques for easy dining, timing is everything, so we'll also share our tips on planning and starting your preparations early along the way.

Not only will you take away some super handy tips and tricks, but you'll get to enjoy two courses alongside supplied beverages. Additional courses or food may be prepared, but no additional charges will be incurred for this. You are welcome to purchase additional drinks throughout the day and all recipes will be provided in a pack to take home.

Our café & cookery school is named after the legendary sailor, George Bass (or Georgie to us). Over 200 years ago, Georgie explored the nearby coastline with his good friend, Matthew Flinders. They wanted to prove that Tasmania was indeed an island. Turns out they were right.
Just like Georgie, we’ve been sailing on our own adventure for a little while now. The quest? To put tasty, clean eating squarely on the Mornington Peninsula map.
We’re doing that by keeping it fresh, local and seasonal. Working with the best regional farmers, dairies, orchards and wineries to help us plate up with simple, delicious food. Because just like Georgie, we all have a special love for Flinders.
A series of cooking classes allows everyone to repeat the Georgie Bass experience at home. These hands-on lessons are led by our industry-leading chefs and cooked with premium Miele equipment.
