The plan
On the day, guests will explore four of Mount Macedon Gardens. Duneira Estate is an 1880s historical garden with huge Rhododendrons. Then we cross the road over to Shepherds Bush, a stunning garden in which the guests will meet and be guided through the garden by owner Kevin Edwards. Next, we head back to the Duneira Stables for a lunch with local wines included. After lunch, we head to Cameron Lodge, an Indian colonial style hill-station with the iconic "Temple of the winds" a wonderful dome-roofed pavilion situated on a lake. We finish off at Viewfield, a contemporary garden, with interesting plantings and a sparkling creek.
